If you have the training, education and experience as a caregiver for elderly persons or families with young children, you may be able to find employment through Bahay CAREgiver Services. We have helped hundreds of caregivers find meaningful, fulfilling, and lasting work for Canadian employers.
Many of our caregivers have worked for their employer’s for many years, have gone on to find employment in related fields (e.g., hospitals, retirement homes) or have return to school to obtain additional training as a nurse, personal support worker or other related fields.
Many of our caregivers have formed a strong bond with their family and maintain life-long friendships. We are proud of our caregivers and work hard to ensure they find the right work for the right family. We also consider our caregivers as part of our family.
Bahay CAREgiver Services offers a preliminary assessment of your employment potential as a caregiver for a Canadian Family. Our preliminary assessment includes:
1) A review of your qualifications
2) If you are not living in Canada, we employ a licensed Immigration Consultant to assess your eligibility to work in Canada.
We recommend that you first send us (by email) your resume which includes the names of your employers, dates of employment and brief description of job duties. We will contact you if we feel your qualifications and experiences match the needs of our families. We prefer to have an in-person or remote/virtual meeting to further explore your ability to work for families. We simply cannot proceed to assess your qualifications without an in-person or remote/virtual meeting.
